Magnus are able to offer a full Logistic service for importers selling their goods via Amazon. We operate with partners in the far east and so can arrange everything from the point the goods leave the factory in China up to delivery into the FBA centres in the UK. We are able to offer competitive solutions for full (FCL) and part (LCL) containers.

We have experience in preparing pallets in our warehouse for specification and demands of Amazon and a wide range of other blue chip retailers. This means that goods are accepted at the point of delivery. Because we operate our own warehouse and vehicles, we have control over the standard of the pallet that will ultimately be delivered. In many cases, shippers in China are preparing pallets in a specification which is not compatible with the expectations of the UK retailers. This results in rework and redelivery charges. Because we are able to control the entire movement, we can plan for this eventuality and ensure that pallets are correctly reworked into the optimal state in the UK. Our membership in leading pallet delivery networks Pall-Ex and PartnerLink means that we are able to offer deliveries to Amazon UK Fulfilment Centres in the most straightforward manner possible.

We can pre-book freight via the Pall-Ex network using the Carrier Appointment Request Portal (CARP). This new system allows the delivering partner to make a consolidated booking directly with the Amazon Fulfilment Centre. This is Amazon UK's preferred method for booking deliveries into UK Fulfilment Centres. Many 'freight forwarders' do not own the facilities in terms of warehousing and vehicles in order to offer these services themselves. They are simply reselling the services of multiple different providers. Magnus are able to offer all of these services under one roof with a full understanding of the goals of the importer.
